We Matter is a national on-line platform designed to gather positive messages from people across the country, and offer support for Indigenous youth going through a hard time. The platform allows users to share messages, artwork and videos in support for the ones in hard times. Many public people shared their message for the campaign including the Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

This project was concepted in the summer of 2016 by Denınu K’ue First Nations brother and sister Kelvin and Tunchai Redvers. Growing up in the Northwest Territories, they saw potential to connect Aboriginal youth, and provide help and guidance in an interactive, multi-media format.

The goal was to connect with aboriginal youth using a digital interface where people could find help while sharing their messages and experiences. The challenge was to create  functional platform for users to upload their own videos enabling interactivity content for youth while still keeping the native roots through design elements.
